Swimming! In the morning!
Jan. 30th, 2008 10:02 amYes, I did indeed get Eric out of bed at 6 am to go swimming. I am still faintly startled that I managed to accomplish this, given his, uh, aversion to the dawn hours.
He is, however, already making semi-excuses about repeating this exercise. Especially in winter. I'm not quite sure if his exhaustion is from the sheer effort of getting out of bed at that hour or the actual swimming. *grin*
Oddly enough, the exercise seems to have energised rather than exhausted me. Yay!
(I also walked to the nearest dry cleaners to drop off some stuff; my favourite dry cleaners have closed. These folk are almost twice as expensive. Grr.)
But I also walked to the station from the dry cleaners, so I feel entirely justified in going to Koko Black later today. :)
Edit: For the record, I managed 12 laps today, including 3 of backstroke and a quarter-lap attempt at freestyle/crawl, which ended because of the uncanny drowning feeling that it evoked.
