Big sigh of relief
Dec. 24th, 2002 11:21 amWell, that's the last interview done. And I think at least the last two went well. For those who haven't a clue what I'm babbling about, law graduates get recruited for articled clerkships in February of their final year. Since I'm departing in four days for the snow-bound streets of Toronto, I applied to do interviews early. I applied to six firms, I got three interviews/responses. I suspect the others haven't read their mail recently. One interview was last week - I think it didn't go so well. But at least it was Allens, where I've worked before, so I might still get an offer. The second one was yesterday afternoon at Mallesons, and the last was this morning at Minters. Anyway, I don't need to worry about it until late February when offers come out. I'm now waiting at work (where it's warm and out of the rain) for my parents to come into the city so we can do foreign currency stuff. This whole telegraphic transfer/traveller's cheque/cash thing is so confusing. It's very sad that I'm sitting in an office doing clean-up bits of work for a job that I'm supposed to have left...
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's.
