Travel plans

msssWent in to pay for my ticket today. I'm leaving Melbourne at 12.15 pm on the 28th of December. I land in Toronto at 5.45 pm on the same day. After an 18-hour transit, that just seems wrong. About 51 weeks from then, I fly out of Toronto and go to London for a couple of days, then come back to Melbourne via Singapore (where I hope to visit my godmother). Oh, and I'll hopefully be road tripping in the northern summer when Will and my sister will be visiting. It only really hit me yesterday. I'm flying half way around the world to a place where I don't know anyone. Scary.

Date: 2002-10-02 02:38 am (UTC)But you'll be gone for 1 year, so you in effect have an insurance policy of somewhere safe to return to that you know if things don't work out is always there. So you'll be fine. Good luck.
