Apr. 2nd, 2002 09:36 pmToday was tiring. Got up early after being very good last night - didn't watch Buffy and did one of my catch up law lectures instead. At least until the batteries ran out. But I figure that was a good enough excuse to stop.
Anyway, the reason I was up early was because I had to go to work. Which is a great place, except that my left eye keeps doing this weird twitchy thing. My sister says it's because I'm exhausted. I guess it does make me want to close my eyes, but why one eye? It gets worse when I watch the screen for too long. And my job is software testing, so you can imagine how much fun that was.
Spent the rest of the day in meetings. I hate meetings. Although I did finally find out what is in the rant file that our project supervisor wrote last year. Apparently he believes that the difference of gender is overrated when you compare it with socio-economic background. For example, he and I are both software engineers (well, students) from Melbourne Uni, and thus we have much more in common than say he and a male refugee from Afghanistan. Well, I guess. But I don't know if it works as well inside a society.
My mother is having one of her episodes again. The ones where she actually calls people up and makes them come over or listen to her for hours while she whinges and cries and makes everyone hate her. I know I should love her. I do. But I love my sister
more. And she doesn't deserve this crap during her final year at high school.
