I hate bras. They're uncomfortable, often painful. They constrict my breathing and shoulders so my back hurts sometimes. Hmm, maybe I have the wrong fitting. *sigh*
Er... yes, I suspect there's something wrong. I'll admit some types are uncomfortable, and I found them quite annoying when I first started wearing them, but I really don't think they're supposed to be painful. Certainly not to interfere with your breathing.
I know there are instructions some places on how to measure for them.... You could possibly go somewhere they can do it for you, too.
Ah, so it's not one of things women have to put up with. Never been quite clear on that. I did some searches on the Net and learned quite a bit. (The most bizarre thing I found was a page with instructions for drag queens!) I think I've grown since I bought these, which might be why all the straps seemed tight. But I think I'll go get a proper fitting when I have time. Maybe after exams. :)
If you live anywhere near a Victoria's Secret they do good bra fittings, and the sales lady didn't even get upset when I bought nothing because my chest is to large for their sizes. Good luck.
Hmm, wonder if we have Victoria's Secret in Melbourne. Will go and search. I've been playing with the straps overnight though, and this one (at least) feels much better. I think I had the shoulder straps too tight. Thanks for the tip. :)
