That was possibly the worse movie I've ever seen. Except for maybe The Sheltering Sky (a tedious and bizarre movie which you hopefully will never come across).

I can't believe a film legend with all the resources you can imagine would make something as bad as that. The script should never have got past the proofread. The cuts were at about the level of a kid who's just learnt how to use Powerpoint. The romance scenes were too painful to watch. The costumes were ridiculous - that dress really should have fallen off her when she turned around. The fight scenes weren't that good, except maybe for the bit where Anakin and Dooku fight in the dark. Cliches galore. Meadows? Firelit dinners? Right after each other? My sister can write better settings than that. His mother dying right after he got there. And the plot was so unsubtle. If I hear the phrase "my young Padawan learner" one more time, I will scream.

It did have some good things. Yoda, as everyone agrees, was cool. I love Yoda. I love the way his ears twitched. I loved the way he had a little flying seat. I loved him in the scene with the little kids. I did not like his sudden Sonic the Hedgehog impression in the fight with Dooku.

I liked the tall skinny people who produced the clones. They were elegantly giraffe-like. And I loved watching them walk.

I loved Mace Windu. Oh, Mace Windu was hot. I know, I know, the purple lightsaber. Can I help it if that does it for me?

On the other hand, I did get to see Will. :)
