Paladin of Souls - free book, anyone?

I'm reminded by my to-do list that I've been derelict in my duty to pass on the goodness of the LMB (Lois McMaster Bujold) mailing list.

Robert Parks kindly donated a number of copies of Paladin of Souls to use as promotional bait. One of them has ended up with me - would any of you not have read Lois McMaster Bujold and like to try a book?

All Lois' books (well, with the exception of the forthcoming Legacy) are perfectly designed to stand-alone, so you needn't worry about prequels/sequels/order of series.

I haven't read any of her books but I have heard and seen lots of people recc'ing her. I would love to try the book if you wouldn't mind. I like finding new authors but get leary of buying new books beyond what I know I'll love and I haven't found a new used bookstore since we moved. Okay, "new used bookstore" well there is an oxymoron if I've ever heard one, I bet you know what I mean though. :)
