Busy weekend
Nov. 2nd, 2008 10:53 pmYay! Our first weekend free from house hunting! Yay!
In summary, we were still pretty busy. Saturday morning was Wall-E at the theatre, using vouchers redeemed from my credit card. Saturday afternoon was a gaming session for Eric and afternoon tea and a friend's place for me. We had an interesting discussion about how a bit of Word/Excel knowledge can make one's work much more efficient.
Sunday morning was cleaning and market stuff, plus a whole lot of garden tidy-up. We're due to have an inspection in the near future, both by the landlord and the new agent. 17catherines's fourth wedding anniversary. There were fabulous cakes and biscuits. And dip. Very good dip. Then we came home, had a quick nap, and started getting ready for dinner with my parents. The conversation was actually quite good - my parents think we got a great deal on our new house, and Mum's doing a small business course, which I'm naturally fascinated in.
