No, no, no, no, NO!!!

I've just been officially recalled to Melbourne by the exchange office back home. I am to make arrangements to leave the city immediately.

One last appeal. Anyone think of any good reasons why I should stay?

Well... there's good, okay, and bad news

The good news is that I definitely don't have SARS. The pattern and severity is all wrong, so it looks like I just have a common cold. I also have a doctor's note to cover this week, so hopefully I can get an extension for this simulation project.

The okay news is that the exchange office here has told me not to immediately book a flight, but to concentrate on this test today and see if they can calm Melbourne Uni down. No other Australian universities have pulled out their students. At worse, maybe they can arrange for me to sit the exams at Guelph so that I don't have to go home straight away and can still travel this summer.

The bad news is well, not really news, or that bad. I still have all this work to do. And the thing about not leaving the country immediately is that I can't really use the "Sorry, couldn't do the work coz I was packing all my belongings." excuse. ;)
