Especially since no one but Rossi (whose reply I can't check for another two weeks until I'm back at work) has actually heard anything. :)

Happy Queen's Birthday, everyone!

Yes, it's not her birthday, and I'm a republican. But who can argue with a long weekend?
:)

Okay, let's see. I've been going out with Will for just over a week. How did this happen? Well, his parents invited me over for dinner. More than once. In a very short period of time. While the two of us were still deciding what should happen. This made me very nervous. Meanwhile, we wanted to sit down and talk, preferably alone, but relatives had descended upon both families. (On my side, some cousins of my parents had come over with their kids. Uncle Laurence and Aunty Bee and Lorraine and Leanne. They're probably migrating to Australia in the next few years. On his side, his aunt and uncle.) So we figured that the odds of privacy at Will's were probably better. Anyway, I deserted my poor sister and left her with the two ever so slightly hyperactive 9/10 year olds for the dinner invitation.

Dinner with Will's family was like one of those formal career dinners where you have to exhibit your best manners, make intelligent conversation and look decorative. I guess it went okay. His aunt is actually a lawyer, so there was some interesting recollection of entertaining past cases. In particular, the topic of massage parlours accused of being brothels has been in the news lately, so she told us about her representation of one unlucky massage parlour manager. Very funny. Anyway, Will and I had lit the fire before dinner, so we nicked off to sit in front of it afterwards. (Note: must build fireplace into next house.) Long conversation followed. And snuggles. :) Saw him on Monday at karate (why does everyone have a longer reach than me??) and then we had breakfast on Wednesday. Was meant to see him yesterday, but I think I'm getting sick (again!) and didn't want to make him sick too. The poor thing has three exams this week. So I don't get to see him till Friday. *sigh*

Speaking of which, exams are coming up scarily soon. Trade marks is on Friday. I've listened to all the lectures and read a fair bit of the reading. Now I just have to organise my notes, finish the reading and do some practice problems. *sigh* I also have to memorise these insane Project Management notes. Like: "A project is a specific, finite task to be accomplished. Any activity which results in a product or deliverable is a project. The ten characteristics of projects are: a clear objective, limited, finite, lifecycle, interdependences, uniqueness, team, divisible into subtasks, change, single point of responsibility." Ugh.

Guess I should go study.
