msssIt's been one of those weeks where everything is a struggle.
But I've made it in to work. I also had enough determination for pilates on Monday. And ballet yesterday. And apparently if you're ignoring one lot of pain, it's easier to ignore the rest.*
The only redeeming factor has been the books. I've been overdosing on Dave Freer's work. (Although it appears that I've now run through all of it. Bother.) Humour, guts, determination, romance. What more could a girl want?** Y'know, that's funny. Remember that post way back about why I like Tinker and Ariane Emory? It's just popped up again - one of the main characters in Pyramid Scheme and Pyramid Power is a marine biologist. Yup, I'm a science geek.
* Apparently arnica doesn't work on ALL types of pain.
** Well, chocolate wouldn't go amiss.
